Tessellation



Tessellation

A pattern made of identical shapes:
• the shapes must fit together without any gaps
• the shapes should not overlap

Example: This tessellation is made with squares and octagons.

Regular polygon
A polygon is a flat shape.  It sides are straight lines
Irregular polygon
There is two main type of polygon. they are Regular polygon and Irregular polygon
